Over the autumn of 2025, me and Agnes wrote a small experimental essay for Robida’s TRANSMISSIONS publication. The essay came from the idea of translating the scattered medium of radio broadcast to the essay format, mixing literary genre’s (channels) and fragmenting them bringing out different relations (changing the channels).

Part of this included bringing the influences of our writing into direct conversation with the text. Our contributions includes a narrative piece, following a woman from Southhampton in roughly the 1970s - though the time and placement follows a mundant surrealist logic, paired with a technical description of how FM radio works. Alongside this are excerpts from Frantz Fanon, Tetsuo Kogawa and Radio Alice.
